Biography – Photography for the Love of it….
I am a keen award winning Photographer based in Wexford, Ireland.
I have earned a Licentiate-ship from both the Irish Photographic Federation (IPF) and Royal Photographic Society (RPS).
Having grown up between England and later in rural Ireland as a young teenager I have always felt a strong connection to the land. Being drawn to the rugged beauty of Ireland and discovers a great sense of peace in our environment. I often seek to reflect the inherent drama and melancholy of the Irish landscape in my photographs. Many of my images also feature man-made objects that, over time, have themselves become part of the landscape. I try to capture the character of the land and communicates the subtle patterns, shapes and forms which exist in our landscape.
I have been taking photographs for over 30 years starting with film & printing and processing black & white photographs all hand done and the love for that medium has never left me. Now my work is all done through the Digital medium.
I consider myself to be primarily a landscape photographer although I do love all things photography and have a couple of on-going ‘pet’ projects including 1798 scenes and a Classic American Car series.
My photography draws inspiration from diverse sources, Please feel free to browse through my Photographs – I hope that you enjoy them.

Also I have had several images published in Practical Photography magazine. The Sunday Independent newspapers amongst others.
